Due to the weight of the product a forklift is required to unload the goods off the truck once onsite, if you have one available at your delivery address that can be used- then we can deliver directly to you.

Residential Delivery
Our transport providers will deliver your Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplace to the nearest vehicular access point at the delivery address and are under no obligation to place the barbecue or any of its components any nearer to the barbecues final position. Please note that driveways with uneven surfaces or unsafe gradients may not qualify for residential delivery. Contact our team for more information.

DIRECT DELIVERY POLICY
By selecting residential delivery as your freight option you are acknowledging that you have accepted and agreed to our direct delivery policy.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to advise buschbeck.com.au if there are any possible truck access difficulties.
Please note;
- The ‘Carrier’ is the Freight Company
- The ‘Customer’ is the Receiver / Consignee
- The ‘Driver’ is the Person delivering the goods
It is the Customers responsibility to provide access. If the carrier is unable to deliver due to inaccessibility, it is the Customers responsibility to arrange an alternative means of delivery at the Customer’s cost (if extra costs are incurred).
A standard truck height is approximately 3.2 meters. buschbeck.com.au will not be able to deliver if access is less than this, and alternative delivery arrangements will need to be made at the Customer’s cost.
Delivery only includes offload of the goods from the truck. It does NOT include moving and placement of the goods anywhere else in the property other than where the truck has direct access to. It is an unload / drop-off service only.
The Drivers are subject to Health and Safety requirements and are not expected to carry goods beyond the Health and Safety limits. This includes steep driveways or uneven surfaces where a potential incident could occur.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods for any damage upon delivery and sign the documentation accordingly.
If the Customer is unsure of damage, they must sign the POD as damaged in case damage is found at the time of unpacking the goods.
Claims for damage must be filed within 3 working days. Claims will only be accepted if appropriately recorded on the consignment note.
Accepting the terms of this Direct Delivery Policy means you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described above. If you do not agree to the terms discussed, or if the purpose of the policy is not understood, you should seek further feedback by contacting us here.
Other Important Information
Delivery timeframes and obligations
All the Buschbeck product range is available for immediate overnight dispatch from our Sydney warehouse and will normally deliver to you within 2-5 working days (metro) and 5-15 (outer metro) after leaving us. Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplaces are delivered on one shrink wrapped pallet complete with printed assembly instructions and can weigh up to 600 kgs.
Each Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplace contains approximately 10 sectional components of which only two require mortaring with the cement provided. Ideally two-three people are required to assemble the Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplace as some of the individual components are quite heavy.
Our transport providers will deliver your Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplace to the nearest vehicular access point at the delivery address and are under no obligation to place the barbecue or any of its components any nearer to the barbecues final position.
Pallet Size
Your Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplace easy DIY Kitset comes shrink wrapped on a pallet:
- 1m wide
- 1.4m high
- 0.6m deep
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated on a per order basis and according to the weight and size of your order, and your delivery address. If you would like an “estimate” of your delivery cost, enter your delivery location (suburb or postcode) in the checkout. You will have the opportunity (based on your entered postcode) to view the estimated delivery charges for your order and before entering your details and making payment. Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplaces reserves the right to alter delivery fees without notice. In most instances, your delivery fee will not change after you have submitted your purchase and have received confirmation. In some rural / remote locations additional charges may be incurred – in this instance Buschbeck BBQ / Outdoor Fireplaces will always communicate with you prior to making any arrangements.
Storage Surcharges
After purchasing your Buschbeck, we will endeavour to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.
Should you require us to hold your order, by prior arrangement, we can hold this in our depot for up to 3 weeks from the purchase date at no charge. Subsequent to this, a storage surcharge of $5.00 inc GST will apply per day.
If the order has been dispatched prior to the arrangement to hold your order and has arrived into a freight providers depot, a storage surcharge of $7.50 inc GST per day will apply.
Metro / Outer Metro Areas
Metro Areas
We utilise a number of Transport Company’s dependent on the destination. Deliveries into Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth Metropolitan areas are sent via an appointed transport contractor. Estimated delivery time is 2 - 5 working days from dispatch.
Outer Metro Areas
Deliveries outside the metropolitan areas of Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth Adelaide, ACT, Wollongong, NSW Central Coast and Newcastle in each state are sent via an appointed transport contractor. Estimated delivery time is 5 -15 working days depending on your location.
In every case we will send you a dispatch email once we have processed your order which will include the track and trace number for the delivery company we are using. This will give you full visibility of your orders progress.
Note: Delivery times will be impacted by statutory holidays as courier companies do not operate on these days. Business days are classed as Monday-Friday and exclude statutory holidays.
